2026 Walk to Defeat ALS Nashville

On Saturday, October 3rd, the ALS Association invites Nashville’s LGBTQ+ community, our friends, families, allies, and chosen families to come together at Nissan Stadium for the 2026 Walk to Defeat ALS Nashville, presented by Beaman Toyota.

 ALS does not discriminate. It impacts individuals and families across Tennessee, including members of our LGBTQ+ community. And behind every person living with ALS is a story, a family, a partner, a friend, and a community that refuses to let them face this disease alone. 

We walk to honor people like the late John Arthur, beloved husband of Jim Obergefell, whose story reminds us of the power of love, commitment, dignity, and standing beside the person you love through life's most difficult moments. John’s life and his journey with ALS are a powerful reminder that every person living with this disease deserves compassion, support, access to care, and the hope that one day ALS will be defeated.
